Glif.ai is a platform that makes it easy to create and combine small AI apps for things like AI image generation – where you can create a Glif to enhance your image prompt (choosing from a number of AI chatbots) and then send it for generation to one of several AI image generation models.
Many of the Glifs that users have created and shared, which you can browse and use on the Glif website, are ‘for fun.’ But the platform isn’t limited to such pursuits and allows users to create their own Glifs from scratch, or by remixing an existing Glif and making it slightly different or completely different than the original creator.
Start with a Glif that was built to generate 1950s style creature feature posters based on a simple prompt, make a few changes, and you could have an app that automates the creation of social media post images based on your pre-defined instructions.
As of this writing, Glif is free to use but limited to 100 runs per day. Based on the evolution of other AI services, it’s not unreasonable to expect Glif to offer some type of paid plan or paid access in the future.
