Coolors is an online tool for color scheme creation and exploration. It’s really easy to use. You can look through random palettes, select from existing palettes, or build your own one color at a time. Maybe you know you want bright blue and white but you’re not sure what other colors to use. You can lock in what you love and do a random shuffle to see some options. Find another color you like, lock it in and then shuffle the rest until you have the perfect palette.
Coolors is popular and not just because it’s free. Many, like me, love that you can use the color picker to select colors, adjust and refine hues, and explore trending palettes or create palettes from images. Of course there’s a library of pre-made color combinations and you can even check for color accessibility.
I’ve used so many utilities, softwares, and websites to find a color scheme or just one or two colors that go well with whatever I already have. They were all “okay” but Coolors is the best and now it’s the only one I use for color selection.
They do have a paid version, which isn’t very expensive. BUT, the free version gives me everything I need.
