Post, Engage, and Bulk-Upload to Multiple Social Media Platforms from One Place.

Metricool allows me to create social media content in a way that I actually enjoy. Before I found Metricool, I was simply horrified at the thought of going to multiple social media platforms and creating posts one at a time for each platform. I just left that whole mess on the backburner, even though I know that there are billions of eyes on those social media platforms everyday.  Eyes that I want to be in front of.

The answer for me, after diligent research and shopping around, is Metricool.  I’m truly excited about this tool and I think you’re going to like it too.  Here’s why…

From ONE to MANY

The main attraction of Metricool is the ability to create a post in one place and publish it, or schedule it to publish, to multiple social media platforms. But, it’s not limited to just creating a single post on the platform and then pushing it out.  Metricool offers several ways to get the content in and out – and they’re all pretty cool!

Create a Single Post

It is so easy to go to Metricool, create a post, select the platforms and either schedule or immediately publish your creation.  You can use text, emoji’s, images, and videos. Metricool is connected to stock media, right from within the editor, and there’s even an AI deal to help you put your post together. The Metricool post editor is easier to use than any of the social media platforms and, best of all, it’s the ONLY place you have to go to create a post for all the platforms.

Batch Create & Upload a Detailed Spreadsheet

One of my initial must-haves when I started searching for a social media management tool (once I figured out they exist, and that’s what they’re called) was the ability to batch-create my posts in a spreadsheet with all the details and just upload it somewhere that would magically make all the posts go where they needed to go.

Of course, Metricool offers this feature and it does exactly what I wanted – along with being able to tweak individual posts after they land in Metricool.  For instance, drag a post on the calendar from Tuesday at 10am to Thursday at noon.

Upload a Simple Spreadsheet or Create a Batch in Metricool

Perhaps the coolest Metricool feature, when it comes to posting, is something they call an Autolist.  You can create posts for an Autolist on their website or upload a simple two-column spreasheet containing just the text of the post and, if you want, the image or video URL for the post.

I liken this to creating a tank of content.  You’re not tying a specific publish date or other details individually to a post.  Instead, you configure the settings in one place for all the content in the Autolist – like setting it to post on Monday’s at 8am and Fridays at 2pm. You also set the platforms and details that apply, like which Pinterest board to post to (if you’re using Pinterest) and those settings apply to everything in your Autolist.  On whatever schedule you set, Metricool posts one thing from your Autolist, based on your settings.

This is sooo flexible.  If you find that Mondays at 8am aren’t working out so well you can just change the setting in the Autolist once and viola!  If you were using the detailed spreadsheet bulk-upload method, you would have to go change the effected posts individually.

You can add new content to your Autolist anytime to keep the tank full, and you can have multiple Autolists!  The possibilities are mind-blowing!!

Auto-magically Feed Your Content

If you have a blog or website that you post content to, you can setup an Autolist on Metricool to grab your content from your site via RSS feed and publish it to your social media accounts.  If you don’t think you have an RSS feed for your blog, chances are you actually do, especially if you are using WordPress.

Do you have a YouTube channel?  You can setup an Autolist in Metricool to pick up the RSS feed for your channel and publsih a post to all your social media platforms whenever you publish a video too!

Another way to use RSS feeds and Autolist to up your social game is if there are any feeds from other sources that would make sense for you to publish on your socials.  For instance, maybe you’re in a local niche, you could grab an RSS feed of weather forecasts and have it automatically pass through and be posted to your accounts.  Or, maybe you’re in finance so you have an RSS feed from a relevant news site that posts breaking news. You decide whether RSS feed items are automatically published or require you to review and green-light.

An Inbox to Call Home

Autolist is the coolest feature about Metricool, but a pretty-close second has to be the inbox. Comments and DMs from all the platforms you’re connected to show up in Metricool.

No need to go open up all the different social apps and go through different accounts to view and reply to messages.  It’s all there, right within Metricool.  This also helps us avoid getting sucked into scrolling whatever social media site when all we meant to do was go check our messages.  Is that just me?

Simple Analytics - in ONE Place

Metricool brings in the major analytics for all the platforms you’re connected too.  At a glance you can see the number of followers and impressions by platform, along with a host of other numbers.  There are even charts and graphs, if you’re into that sort of thing.

The analytics don’t get too deep into the weeds on platform-specific metrics, and I’m OK with that.  Metricool’s analytics gives you more than enough to see where you’re at and how things are going on each platform. Also, I think for us solopreneurs, getting too deep in the analytics is sometimes an unintended distraction from whatever it is we should be doing at the time anyway.
